Jelena Kovacevic Selected as World Space Week Association Operations Manager

Jelena Kovacevic has been named Operations Manager of World Space Week Association, the global coordinator of UN-declared World Space Week, 4-10 October annually.
“We are very excited to work with Jelena. Her dedication and great skill set are exactly what we need to strengthen the Association and better serve the ever-growing base of World Space Week participants,” said Association Executive Director Maruska Strah.

Maruska Strah, WSWA Executive Director, Named 2022 IAF Young Space Leader

(Houston, Texas) World Space Week Association Executive Director Maruska Strah has been selected to receive the prestigious 2022 International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Young Space Leader Award, it was announced this week.

“I am incredibly honoured to be named one of the 2022 IAF Young Space Leaders,” said Strah. “For me this award means that my work for World Space Week Association has had a positive impact and has been recognized. I am grateful to Association President Dennis Stone for his nomination and to the Association for its support,” she said.

World Space Week 2021 – Results announced!

World Space Week Association announced that there were 6,418 events recorded in 96 during the World Space Week (WSW), October 4-10, 2021, celebrating WSW 2021 theme “Women in Space”.
