| Event Description: | Documentary film directed by Natalia Metlina. From 1961 to 1968, Yuri Gagarin was filmed more than any world star. He spent all these years under the flashes of cameras from hundreds of news agencies, but the largest collection of Gagarin’s photographs, of course, belongs to the Main News Agency TASS. And today we are opening these archives. The program uses interviews with those who are no longer with us - Alexei Leonov, Joseph Kobzon, Evgeny Kiryushin, Viktor Gorbatko... Alexandra Pakhmutova and Nikolai Dobronravov, veterans, photographers and TASS correspondents, will share their memories of Gagarin. And TASS Deputy General Director Mikhail Gusman will tell incredible stories from the life of TASS photographers and their adventures with Gagarin. |
