| Event Description: | Space activities continue to play the important role in human-being, economic and security questions of every state. NewSpace sector is increasingly penetrating into exploration and use of outer space, the Moon, and other celestial bodies. These events affect space science, technology and space law, and policy. RUDN University Space Week is dedicated to the World Space Week and is organized jointly with Academy of Engineering and Law Institute of the RUDN University. The format of the event includes a series of lectures, discussion panels and Q&A sessions in online format in English. Among the prominent participants and partners of the event are representatives of ROSCOSMOS, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Intersputnik International Space Communications Organization, Aerospace Monitoring Research Institute “Aerocosmos”, etc. RUDN University Space Week has been a notable success, which is primarily manifested in the number of participants. Every day more than 150 people take part in a series of panel discussions with renowned space science experts. The aim of the Week is to inspire youth to learn different aspects of space science and technology, space law and policy, to educate the public about space activities, and to promote international cooperation in space outreach and education. The working language of the event is English, simultaneous translation from English into Russian is not provided. |
