Event Name:  Dacia Young Astronomers
Event Description:  Join us for World Space Week, the largest annual space event in the world! This year's theme is "Space and Entrepreneurship," and we will be celebrating the growing significance of the commercial space industry and the new opportunities it is creating. Throughout the week, there will be events and activities for all ages and interests, including: lectures and workshops, Space Expo, Astronaut Music, Educational activities about space, such as rocket building, stargazing, and more.

Period: 4 – 10 October Activities carried out: Workshop 1: The Blue Planet, grades V – VIII, 16 students, the students made various bookmarks, for sale, in the form of space rockets. Workshop 2: Getting to know our planets, 5th grades, 20 students, the students made powerpoint presentations in which they presented each planet and what entrepreneurial possibilities they offer. Workshop 3: Space Expo, preparatory class, 25 students, students made different works on the theme of Planets for the exhibition. Workshop 4: My life between the planets, 2nd grade, 25 students, the students made various works in which they presented the planets. Workshop 5: Our Universe, 7th grade, 10 students, the students presented works designed by them on the topic of Astronomy. Workshop 6: Space and spatial entrepreneurship, 5th grades, 58 students, students designed models and elements specific to spatial entrepreneurship. Workshop 7: A Tour Guide to My Planet, 4th grade, 30 students, the students made different materials specific to a tour guide for each planet. Workshop 8: Lunar landscape, 5th grade, 16 students, the students made models of the Solar System, lunar landscape and reports on the theme of extraterrestrial space. Workshop 9: Playful Planets, 1st grade, 24 students, students discovered each planet and designed various models. Workshop 10: Journey through the Solar System, 6th and 7th grades, 50 students, the students made presentations and reports on the theme of the journey through the Solar System. Workshop 11: Return to the Moon, 8th grades, 60 students, the students completed the codelab - Build a Lunar Habitat with NASA, respectively the Take the Lunar Test Drive with NASA codelab on the Tynker platform. Workshop 12: Space Travel, 2nd grade, 25 students, the students made materials specific to a space travel. Workshop 13: Incursion among the stars, 2nd grades, 50 students, the students discovered the planets in the Universe. Impact: Throughout the week, there were events and activities for all ages and interests, including: lectures and workshops, Space Expo, music by astronauts, educational activities about space such as building models of the planets, stargazing and more. The students were delighted with what they discovered in these workshops.
