Report on the Results:  At the end of last weekend, the students of Primary School No. 30 "Gheorghe Țițeica" completed the activities within the international project "World Space Week." It is the fifteenth consecutive year in which our students competed to demonstrate their interest in this subject. The project was developed by the teachers of our school under the close guidance of the librarian, Anca Moșoiu, project coordinator who was proud to see, time and time again, such wonderful creations and products inspired by space and economy. This year, the project focused on researching and analyzing the relationship between space and entrepreneurship, exploring the opportunities and challenges associated with business development in the space industry. The goal was to understand how entrepreneurship can contribute to the development and innovation in the field of space, generating economic and technological benefits. To draw attention to this year's theme, the project coordinator, Anca Moșoiu, created a presentation titled "Motivational Stories of Successful Space Entrepreneurs." Students from preparatory classes A and D, under the guidance of primary school teachers Anca Medeșan and Iuliana Vizan, enthusiastically welcomed the event, creating several representative objects: cosmonauts climbing an imaginary ladder to outer space, as well as space shuttles, robots, astronauts, and Lego planes, setting up an exhibition to which they added personalized galaxies and magical rockets. Encouraged by primary school teacher Dr. Simona Palasca, the first-grade students of class I C gave life to their vision of the present and future of the space beyond. Their classmates from class I D invited their peers to a thematic drawing exhibition organized by primary school teacher Liliana Gogoașă. The students of class IG created a class collage, acting as a real team under the guidance of primary school teacher Raluca Vasile, while the students of class ID, closely supervised by primary school teacher Marioara Gospodin, sold food products at the school's autumn fair for future space explorers. Similarly, the fourth-grade students of class IV F, under the guidance of primary school teacher Adriana Dobrin, invited their colleagues to taste various yummy delights. The second-grade students of class II D, guided by primary school teacher Mirela Cotoarbă, combined the project's theme with that of friendship, thinking that no one would venture into space without their best friend. Therefore, they created astronauts with two faces: one of the author and the other with the face of their soulmate. Coordinated by primary school teachers Mariana Beca, Rodica Urlă and Daniela Machedon, the third-grade students of classes III A, III B and III C used their skilled hands to (re)create a tiny infinity, making drawings, collages, and models, all to convey the immeasurable dimension of the Universe. The middle school students fully embraced this year's project theme, "Space and Entrepreneurship," and came up with "space" business ideas. As a result, the Turkish language students under the guidance of Professor Subihan Iomer drafted business plans that could be implemented on other planets. In their English classes, under the guidance of their teachers Adina Netedu, Cristina Lomnoșanu, Dorina Șacu, Doinița Stoian, Nicoleta Savu and Veronica-Diana Hagi students showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The sixth-grade students of class VI C wrote emails to send news from the space station back home, presenting humorous anecdotes about how they live, wash, or eat in a state of weightlessness. The seventh-grade students of class VII B created posters of activities in space, including details of the equipment used and the necessary means of transportation. The seventh-grade students of class VII E transformed into successful space entrepreneurs and initiated various "space" businesses. The eighth-grade students of class VIII E created panels and advertising campaigns to promote products to the general public, such as "space vacations," "nourishment or breathing equipment," and "space suits." The sixth-grade students of class VI A, in their social education class, under the guidance of Dr. Laura Simion, developed a business plan, while their classmates from class VI A created riddles and poems on the theme of space and entrepreneurship. Geography and technology classes also provided an opportunity for this generous project. Teachers Mihaela Zaharia and Oana Ciamita involved many students from classes V-A C, V-A E, VI-A C, VI-A D, VII-A, and VII-E, who virtually visited the International Space Station, created models, posters, posters, and drawings. An unusual activity was undertaken by the students of class VII C, who brought the cosmos to their feet in the form of chalk drawings on the pavement, an initiative of P.E. teacher Marinela Koseoglu. At the end of a week filled with events, the project coordinator, librarian Anca Moșoiu, stated: "Children never get bored with this generous subject. The cosmic space attracts them with its mystery and the possibilities it opens up, so every year I am amazed at the resources of creativity and the high level of interest that students, both young and old, dedicate to the activities of the 'International Space Week' project. It's been 15 years already, and it feels like the first year of the project was just yesterday... I wholeheartedly believe that these children, the future adults of tomorrow, will change the world and conquer the universe!" https://padlet.com/bibl30cta/wsw-2023-a3c7i8rvjq7wv5wj
