Report on the Results:  The World Space Week-2011 in Museum of the World Ocean (Kaliningrad, Russia) was devoted to the 50th anniversary of human’s first flight to space, our countryperson Yury Gagarin. On October 5 there were three events held: chess competition with World Champion A. Kostenuk, opening of “The Space” kids’ drawings by physically challenged children and “A Glance from Above” meeting with representatives of the Baltic Fleet airbase followed by presentation of summer equipment . On October 6 “Nuclear Space” Internet lecture was held for high-schoolers. A. Akatov, chairperson of Young Scientists Union of Saint-Petersburg Technical University, led this meeting. On October 7 “A Question to Astronaut” action was solemnly closed. It was devoted to the Year of Russian Cosmonautics. The action was possible thanks to support and active assistance of staff from Federal State Budget Institution “Yu. A. Gagarin State Scientific Research-and-Testing Cosmonaut Training Center” (Moscow Region, Zvezdny Gorodok) and Information Centre for Nuclear Energy of Kaliningrad. Ten questions were selected from hundreds in Kaliningrad and Zvezdny and then were sent to the orbit. A. Borisenko, A. Samokutyaev and S. Volkov, participants of the 27th and 28th ISS expedition, answered these questions. The record made at the ISS was passed to Training Centre and then to Kaliningrad. The video was screened on October 7 for “space” teachers and schoolchildren, participants of the action, in the Congress-Hall of the Museum. The action winners were awarded with certificates and prizes and astronauts’ photos with autographs – keepsakes from Yu. A. Gagarin State Scientific Research-and-Testing Cosmonaut Training Center. The holiday finished with “The Starry Night”: all the visitors could watch space objects through museum telescope Celestron Advanced C8-SGT XLT. On October 8 “The Planet Earth” concert was held by schoolchildren from M. Glinka Kaliningrad Musical School. During the World Space Week exclusive guided tour was available – “Ship’s Space Heart”, acknowledging visitors with operating laboratories for space communication located aboard the Kosmonavt Viktor Patsaev.
