| Event Description: | Chapter members and guests will meet at the Manitoba Museum to take in two space-related planetarium shows plus visit the Science Gallery to learn about a Canadian contribution to the Apollo Moon program. The group will meet afterwards for some discussion and fellowship. |

| Report on the Results: | Seven members of the Canadian Space Society - Winnipeg Chapter came together to learn about the Apollo program and Astronauts via 2 Planetarium shows at the Manitoba Museum. The group also visited the Science Gallery to witness some cubesat STEM activity as well as play with the Apollo Lunar Lander mock-up that was built for the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing. The event concluded with the group visiting a nearby pub and discussing some of their thoughts on old and contemporary space movies. Overall, we were hoping for a larger level of participation. It was fairly challenging to find an event date/place that encouraged maximum participation. |
