| Event Description: | "World Space Week 2018" will be celebrated at Beaconhouse Metropolitan Campus, Islamabad. Arranged and organized by Physics club supervisor Mirwat Uzair. (A) Presentations and poster making will be done on three themes:- "Space Exploration", "Space Militarization" "Space Habitalization" (B) There would also be Solar Observation in collaboration with ZEDS Observatory Lahore and LAST. (C) Two guest talks would be delivered on topics relevant to space week. Time: 0930 to 1430 Hrs |

| Report on the Results: | The event started with a presentation on “Introduction to Space Technology and civilian applications”. This was followed by presentations from students on topic related to Space Militarization, habitalization etc. Lahore Astronomical Society team lead by CEO ZEDS observatory Mr. Umair Asim came over with their Solar telescope. They conducted a Solar Observation Session. The event was well attended by approximately 300 students. |
