| Report on the Results: | The round table brought together more than 70 guests, among which were scientists, lecturers, business experts, leading employees of higher educational institutions, students of space specialties, representatives of local governments. The following speakers presented their thoughts: Yuri Golik, Advisor to the Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, John Isella, Director of International Business Development at Firefly Space Systems Inc, Vitaly Patoka, Deputy General Director for Human Resources YUZHMASH, Alexander Novikov, Deputy General Director of Yuzhnoye State Design Office, Alexey Kulik, General Director of the National Center for Aerospace Education of Youth named after A.M. Makarov and other experts. During discussion panels, the participants discussed and identified the problems of modern space education, training programs and their relevance to the labor market. Due to the diverse standpoints on the raised issues, the round table allowed us to draw conclusions and find such insights, the introduction of which will improve the state of the national educational system. Listeners and participants identified the challenges that modern universities are facing, including the problem of searching and educating specialists in the aerospace industry, lack of funding for the development of space direction in universities, the tendency of combining specialties, lack of awareness of potential students about learning opportunities. One of the proposed solutions to the above mentioned challenges was an experience of creation and functioning of Noosphere Engineering School. Particularly within the walls of the School’s laboratories, which are located in the leading technical universities of Ukraine, future specialists get practical experience related to the requirements of potential employers, learn how to work in team, interact with leading experts from the business, launch real projects that meet the needs of the modern space market.
